1) Tell us about your Valentine’s Day Collaboration with renowned artist Leanne Shapton.loui viton

Leanne’s work is so provocative and smart, and I’ve long been a fan of hers. We wanted to work with her and asked her to create an exclusive print for us for our first Artists’ Collaboration series. She designed a charming lip print and a beautiful version of our logo. They’re featured on pajamas, a great tote and two makeup bags.

2) What would be the perfect gift from the Tory Burch line to give for Valentine’s Day?

Leanne’s pieces are definitely great ideas, especially the red lipstick print. I also love our colorful heart sandals and wristlets—they’re chic and charming. I also think jewelry and accessories, like one of our statement necklaces or a luxurious tote is a great way to get into the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

3) What was your most memorable Valentine’s Day?

I loved Valentine’s Day with my father. He used to write poems for all of us.

1) What is your go-to handbag?

My go-to bag right now is our McLane tote. It’s done in a rich, slouchy leather with a gold chain, which is a cool combination. It’s one of our bigger styles, so I can carry my notebook and Kindle.

My latest bag obsession set in quick and hit me hard. Each time I visited Botkier’s website I kept seeing the gorgeous louis vouittonBotkier Venice Hobo in hot pink used for their ad campaign. Not only is the photo beautiful, the bag has a way to jump out and grab your attention. The zippers, the tassels, the COLOR. How can you not love this bag? Let’s get into the bag itself a bit more. Amanda covered the Venice Satchel (a hilarious review, click back to read it). The bag features horizontal zipper pulls, which splits up the body a bit and adds a nice touch. Somehow, even with a fairly simple design, this bag just ran right into my heart. Another reason you should pick up a Botkier bag: the quality is superb, the materials are top notch, and the price is reasonable. Balenciaga bags continue to follow me around and dare I say haunt me. You know what, I prefer this edition. The bags at Neiman Marcus are calfskin suede while this is vintage crafted lambskin. I am all about the feel of the bag, and I think this one gets my vote.

I am a fan of well-done embossing. But embossing is sometimes tricky to perfect. I would like to think that Balenciaga gets it done properly, but without seeing this bag in person I can’t say for sure. However, knowing Balenciagacheap louis vuitton purses leathers I am guessing this is both supple and thick. At first I really was loving the color fer, but I feel like it might be a bit washed out. Black is always classic and with dimensionality added from the embossing, it might be the perfect addition of chic. The First size was never my first choice, but I am really kind of digging this.
